We specialize in copyediting fiction (fantasy, science fiction, speculative fiction, etc.) and book-length nonfiction.
Copyediting includes checking for grammar, usage, spelling, punctuation, and other mechanics of style; checking for consistency of mechanics and for internal consistency of facts; editing tables, figures, and lists.
At the completion of the project, we will provide you with the MS Word manuscript with Tracked Changes and a copy of the Style Sheet created during the edit. This Style Sheet contains character notes and style decision information used in the editing.
Rates
Each manuscript is unique, and therefore each requires a different level of care and time. We prefer to see the manuscript before providing a rate quote, so that we can judge the level of editing and amount of time it would require. Please contact us for rates.
